Ever wonder what we do (and don’t) use AI for? Here’s a quick look at how AI fits into our process, and why the work is still very much ours.

How Katalyst Uses AI
AI is a useful tool, and we use it as part of our work at Katalyst. But it’s just that: a tool.
We use AI when it genuinely helps us do better work. It can be useful for researching ideas, organizing information, working through problems, drafting content, or exploring possibilities. Other times, a different tool or our own expertise is the better choice.
Either way, the work doesn’t get handed off to AI.
We still do the strategy, design, development, and problem-solving. AI may help us get somewhere faster, but we make the decisions, review the results, and take responsibility for what we deliver.
That’s especially important with client-facing work. Anything AI helps produce is reviewed and refined by us before it becomes part of a project. We don't simply copy and paste an AI response and call it done.
We're also careful with client information. We don't provide AI tools with passwords, login credentials, customer data, or other sensitive information.
The bottom line
AI can help us work more efficiently, but it doesn’t replace the work.
You’re hiring Katalyst for the experience, judgment, and expertise behind the finished product.
